How much do I draw?

Answer three things and we'll tell you exactly how many marks to fill on a standard insulin syringe. No math.

Bacteriostatic water. More water = the powder is more diluted (each mark = less peptide).

How much do you want per dose?

Pick the amount of peptide you want each time you draw.

Your answer

Fill to 5 units on a U-100 insulin syringe.

That's 0.05 mL — and gives you about 20 doses per vial.

Use a U-100 insulin syringe — 1 mL = 100 units, marked in UNITS (typically 31G × 8 mm / 5⁄16″).
Do not use a 3 mL syringe or a tuberculin (mL-only) syringe — and always read the unit marks, never the mL marks. The 0.5 mL / 0.3 mL insulin syringes work too; just count the same unit number.

Add water slowly down the vial wall, swirl gently — never shake. Refrigerate and use within 4–6 weeks once mixed. For research use only — not directions for human use.
